They talk about how designers often overlook simple priciples related to graphic design, and that looking back we can learn a lot and often find inspiration......

Also take a look at http://www.retroradar.com/category/feature-articles/ , a constant, somewhat nostalgic investigation into trends/fads of the past, picking out exceptionally interesting items from the realms of fashion, film, art and culture and displaying them for our appreciation. A 'whats hot' of the past.

And car design being another of my interests, visit http://www.carbodydesign.com/news.php to see all the latest trends in automotive design. Lots of images, spy shots, artistic and computer-generated impressions of planned future models as well as Design competition winners' creations and concepts from all the major international motor shows.
